In March 2016 we began distributing across France, and have only just found the time to let you know about it in more detail than a measely Instagram post. For those of you who live in France, you'll be pleased to know that you no longer have to go through our online shop, or wait so long for your order to arrive. With three official stockists and three others in progress, you can now buy Qnola from local stores and cafes in Paris, and soon, nationwide.
Our first stockist, ICI Selfcafe, is a beautiful holistic yoga studio that sits, like a pot of gold, at the end of a pretty foreboding alleyway. One of the most beautifully thought out yoga studios I have ever visited, they begin the class with powerful, superfood lattes or tonics, and work with crystals, sage and other natural remedies to ensure the energy of the space is clear and calm. Their shop is fully stocked with the most amazing beauty, diet, sportswear and arometherapy brands I've ever come across - including our own. You can pick up a pouch or a single serving pot from here anytime of day - whether you need to stock the kitchen or want and instant breakfast or snack to enjoy on-the-go.
Claus Epicerie was one of my favourite discoveries from my visit to Paris earlier this year. Their brunch hot spot of a cafe, a weekend go-to of many Parisian's, looks out onto their very own Epicerie (that's 'grocery shop' to those of you not from France, French speaking countries, or fluent in French). Their store stocks a sumptuous selection of artisan food goods, from cereals, breads, condiments and local cheeses, to fresh juices, in-house produced ready meals and sweet and savoury snacks. Many of the products are locally sourced and organic, and several of them are suitable for gluten free, vegan and raw diets. You can pick up a full sized pouch of our Qnola products in store today. And whilst you're at it, we suggest you hop across the street for an Almond Milk Cappucino, or breakfast if you have time.
LA MAISSON PLISSON
This week, La Maison Plisson becomes our latest stockist, welcoming our full sized grocery packs of Qnola to their beautiful store. Upstairs, you'll find a cool, calm restaurant serving wholesome breakfasts, brunches, lunches and dinners, and nextdoor you'll find a small but mighty grocery store, complete with fresh produce, an entire meat counter, an entire cheese counter and a deli counter serving a selection of dips, pates, salads and antipasti items, all made in-house. Downstairs, you'll find a wine cellar, a room filled with savoury snacks such as crackers, crisps, grains, pastas and condiments, and a sweet room containing bakery items, cereals, Qnola, chocolate, locally produced artisan sweets, jams, teas and a selection of French specialities. It is a wonderful journey to spend time shopping at La Maison Plisson, and although it is small, you can get lost in every corner of it, immersed in unique products you've probably never come across before. What exactly are you waiting for?
