We love breakfast, but brunch... It's just breakfast but bigger and makes waking and eating unsociably late entirely acceptable. In London we're spoilt for choice with new independent and innovative eateries cropping up left, right and centre. E5 Bakehouse, tucked inside a beautifully characteristic railway arch on London Fields, is one of our locals, and their food ethic is something we really resonate with. Everything they produce is "Fresh, seasonal, organic and (as much as possible) locally sourced. Everything is made from scratch, using the highest quality ingredients available." Can it get any better than that? Well sure it can, we wouldn't have asked otherwise. They also offer wheat-free and dairy-free options, just how we like it. So, for those of you who want to indulge but don't find treating yourself worth the pain or discomfort of triggering intolerances, this place is for you. And if you don't mind the temoprary irritations, all we're gonna say is cinnamon buns, and chamomile tea.
